Maritza A.

Hello! I’m Maritza and this is my buddy Klaus.  We are originally from California, but have been calling Washington home since fall 2016.  We love getting out in nature, getting crafty (mostly me), and exploring new areas of Washington!

I also love having animals in my life!  I majored in Animal Science in college and continued on to become a zookeeper.  I have worked with a diverse range of animals including red pandas, giant tortoises, grey wolves, bobcats, parrots, walking sticks, and many more!  Working with exotics has been been amazing, but I’m excited to provide high quality care to a new and ever changing variety of amazing animals through Frolic.

I look forward to applying my experience and upbeat energy to taking care of your furry family like they are my own!
