Meg Wood

Meg took over ownership of Frolic after Carol passed in 2024. Meg had in the past been a dedicated member of Frolic as the Operations Manager, so she was very familiar with the company and helped transition seamlessly.

Meg is an extrovert that loves helping people and making a difference. She is a personal finance and economics nerd. Meg deeply enjoys her career in financial advising and planning, and is actively working towards her Certified Financial Planner CFP(R) designation. She lives in the greater Seattle area with her two dogs Rainier and Everest. She enjoys all things outdoors – trail running, gardening, backpacking, skiing and swimming. Often you’ll find her at dance classes, out at concerts, or soaking up her cuddle-pups with a book in hand.

Meg was always business savvy and worked well to implement safety and accountability within the company. She excels at team management, handling technical and situational chaos, and thrives in problem solving situations. Meg is one of those people who loves to teach and guide, but also absolutely gets distracted by any passing dog – must rub the belly! – Must cuddle all the pups!
