Ready to Join our Amazing Team?

We are always seeking deeply thoughtful humans to join us in providing the BEST care to our pets.

We strive to be the most professional and knowledgeable pet care team in the PNW. That team is crafted from wonderful and dedicated people who have a passion for animals that exceeds the norm. We are deeply loving, ultra-communicative, supportive, forward-thinking, detail-oriented, open-minded, and safety driven individuals who have banded together to build a terrific team to care for clients’ fur-children.

We’ve been going strong for over 15 years and constantly look for ways to keep improving. Check out our About Us page to know more about what we do, our mission, and what sets us apart. Also, get to know how we do things and who we are on the Our Team page!

How Frolic Pet Services supports you:

We operate by hiring W2 employees rather than using 1099 independent contractors. While this may be a less ‘profitable’ business model, it’s 100% the right choice in the pet care field.

As an employee, you benefit from being part of a trained team that supports you—not just when you’re out sick, but also by offering insurance coverage, bonding, full licensing, coordination, client management, marketing, and guidance, among other benefits. In exchange, you can focus on being present with the pets, making you a better caregiver.

  • Our office team manages the evaluation, set up, coordination, communication, and scheduling with the clients, so you get to focus on providing the best care and having the most fun with the pets.

  • You are thoroughly trained and supported to handle an array of situations.

  • The office is always one call away – for issues small and large, we’re here to help.

  • We grow for you – providing marketing in our staff’s service areas so that you get the hours you need. [Marketing team ensures consistent growth in your service area]

  • We create a schedule based on your availability and service neighborhoods – we put the puzzle together for you in advance, coordinate any changes, and ensure appropriate distance between appointments so your day is filled with animal-focused time.

  • We support all our team members, no matter who they are. We are respectful of your individuality and needs as a person. We are an open communication company and work with you to find a solution to any problems faced in a kind and courteous manner. Our management team is emotionally aware and always holds space to grow and improve.

Our team looks for the following qualities:
  • Dedicated animal lovers

  • Reliability

  • Calm and caring personalities

  • Attention to detail

  • Communicative – even on the little things

  • Team focused – helpful and kind – ie. supporting fellow team members by reaching out and communicating how to best be successful at client appointments.

  • Openness to bring up anything that feels ‘off’

  • Situational awareness

  • Forward thinking – you think ahead and take action. (ie. first appointment of a weeklong vacation visit and you notice there may not be enough pet food).

  • Safety focused – You take animal safety into the highest regard. It’s important that you are thinking ahead, taking the time to be safe, and making calculated decisions. This approach ensures caregiving is done thoughtfully. You triple check before giving medications, taking a dog-reactive pup down a new street, and securing the homes.
